Six Sigma is much more than training people and having Black Belts run projects—an effective Six Sigma initiative requires an efficacious Six Sigma governance program. Our consultants work with our clients to develop a monitoring program and infrastructure that is unique for each client, ensuring that your program has effective components for leadership, change management, recognition and compensation, resource selection and utilization, and communication.

One segment of Oriel’s consulting methodology is assisting senior executives in selecting those improvement projects that will have a direct impact on the organization’s strategic goals. The charts below demonstrate Oriel’s project selection process.

Typically, this process is applied in executive workshops facilitated by one of our Master Black Belts. Tools such as multivoting, affinity diagrams, tree diagrams, and data plots are used throughout. The Oriel Master Black Belt also will help your organization prepare for the workshop in order to ensure optimum efficiency.

Oriel Black Belts and Master Black Belts are available to coach and mentor your organization’s management at any phase of the Six Sigma implementation cycle. Also, we recognize that sometimes organizations need Six Sigma expertise in between the formal training sessions to develop in-house champions, Black Belts, and Green Belts. Oriel Black Belts are always available to help your organization complete Six Sigma projects, or to assist your project champions in selecting, reviewing, and evaluating projects.

Oriel Master Black Belts can also help develop your organization's Black Belts into Master Black Belts. After that, we can qualify them to train your Black Belts, Green Belts, and champions, and license you to use Oriel training materials.

Not every organization is in a position to implement a full-scale Six Sigma training program.  To help groups with limited resources, Oriel's unique Rent-A-Black-Belt option places trained Master Black Belts and Black Belts on-site to manage Six Sigma improvement projects.
